VOW Privacy Policy

Your plans and focus history

VOW stores your tasks, notes, daily plans, saved plans, recurring-task rules, completion history, and recorded focus sessions locally on your device. The current app does not send that content to an AI provider or a VOW-operated planning server. There is no required VOW account. Removing the app can remove its local data; restoring a subscription does not restore task history.

App blocking and permissions

VOW uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks with your authorization to shield apps, categories, and websites you select. Apple provides privacy-preserving selection tokens. VOW saves those tokens and protection settings on the device and shares the information needed for blocking with its own app extensions through an App Group. These selection tokens are not sent to Superwall. You can change your selection or disable protection in the app, and manage Screen Time authorization in system settings.

Optional notifications remind you to plan. You can disable them in VOW or system settings.

Purchases and Superwall

Apple processes App Store payments; VOW does not receive your full payment-card details. VOW uses Superwall to display subscription offers and determine subscription access. Its SDK sends device and app information, an anonymous identifier, and Apple's IDFV when requesting offers, checking access, and syncing purchases. Superwall retains purchase and entitlement records linked to those identifiers while VOW uses the service. It also retains the paywall variant assigned to a device and limited operational logs. Purchase and paywall-assignment records help show revenue and experiment results in VOW's dashboard. An approximate city and region may be derived from your IP address to select an offer. VOW has disabled Superwall's native and hosted-paywall analytics events. Superwall says it does not use this information for advertising, sell it, or combine it across customers. Your task titles and notes are not passed to the purchase SDK by VOW.

Backup availability

The present release configuration does not enable VOW's optional manual iCloud backup service. Do not rely on it to recover your plans. If a later build enables it, that feature will require an Apple iCloud account and explicitly save progress to your private CloudKit storage. It does not restore Screen Time permission or a subscription.

Support

If you email support, we receive the address and content you send. Email is handled through our email provider. Avoid sending sensitive task notes, passwords, or payment details. We use support correspondence to respond to your request and retain it as needed for support and applicable obligations. Contact us about access to or deletion of support correspondence. Apple and Superwall handle information in their services under their respective policies.

Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete local tasks and plans in VOW. For requests concerning support or subscription-service information, contact getvowapp.support@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or complain to your local privacy regulator. We may need enough information to verify and locate a request. We cannot retrieve task content stored only on your device.

Service providers may process information outside your country. We keep support information only for the purposes described above and applicable legal obligations. Subscription records may need to be retained to restore access, resolve disputes or meet legal requirements. VOW does not ask for a child's age or profile; do not send children's personal information to support. Contact us if you believe such information was provided so we can address it.

Previous launch signups and this website

VOW is available on the App Store, and this website no longer accepts launch email signups. If you previously signed up, we retain your email address and consent timestamp only to send the one launch message you requested. We do not use these addresses for unrelated marketing, sell them, or connect them to your in-app plans. The email provider used for the launch message will process your address to deliver it. Contact getvowapp.support@gmail.com to have your address removed at any time. We will delete these signup records within 90 days after the launch message, as previously promised.

This website does not contain advertising or analytics scripts and does not require sign-in. Its hosting providers process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to serve and secure the pages. Email links open your email application; nothing is sent through them until you choose to send it.

Advertising and changes

VOW does not display ads or use your tasks for advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date. Contact getvowapp.support@gmail.com with questions.
